Terms and Conditions – Wholesale

When an order is placed, the customer accepts our Terms & Conditions. Terms & Conditions may change without prior notice. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm EST. You may order online anytime at www.joliza.com.

50% non-refundable deposit is required for all orders and back orders. No refunds will be done for cancelled orders.

Orders

Minimum opening orders are $750; re-orders are also $750 minimum. All Jo-Liza International merchandise is priced wholesale to the trade only. New customers must provide a valid Sales & Use Tax ID Number and complete our tax ID form in full before any order will be processed.  Order confirmations will indicate estimated ship dates. Actual ship dates may change due to circumstances and availability. All order changes and cancellations must be made in writing via email to jolizainternational@gmail.com and will incur 15% stocking fee. Once you order we automatically send that order to our factory overseas and is loaded for our next shipment.

Payment Terms

We do not extend terms. A credit card number is required at the time of order. We charge 50%  upon receiving your order and full payment plus shipping charges which you would approve  prior to the shipping of your goods, and cannot be packed or processed without payment information. A $30 fee will be charged for any returned checks.

Prepayment Required

Prepayments are required on all orders and must include the cost of shipping. Jo-Liza International will contact a customer up to three times to collect payment information to process an order {via phone or email}. The third and final contact will notify the customer that their order will be automatically closed within 48 hours unless Jo-Liza International is contacted with payment information. If the order is closed, the goods will be released and a new order must be placed. Customer agrees to pay all collection costs and attorney fees on late payments.

Compliance with Laws

By accepting any products from Jo-Liza International, you agree and acknowledge that you will comply in all material respects with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, orders and decrees of all governmental authorities, including, without limitation, California Proposition 65 {the California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986}. For all products purchased from Jo-Liza International and sold either at retail in California or to a customer residing in California, you agree and acknowledge that you will affix appropriate labels and provide appropriate notice to the consumer in compliance with California Proposition 65. The fact that Jo-Liza International may choose not to label its products does not limit or eliminate your labeling and notice requirements as set forth herein.

Indemnification

Customer shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless Jo-Liza International and its officers, directors, managers, shareholders, members, partners, employees, agents, affiliates, and successors {collectively, “Indemnified Party”}against any and all losses, damages, liabilities, deficiencies, claims, actions, judgments, settlements, interest, awards, penalties, fines, costs or expenses of whatever kind, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, costs and expenses of enforcing any right to indemnification incurred by Indemnified Party, relating to or resulting from any claim of a third party arising out of or occurring in connection with {1} Customer’s negligence or willful misconduct or {2} breach of these Terms and Conditions, including, without limitation, Customer’s failure to properly label products or provide appropriate notice and warning to California consumers with respect to products containing Proposition 65 chemicals. Customer’s indemnification requirements contained herein shall not be limited or eliminated by any labeling of products by Jo-Liza International.

Lead Time

 All our products are handmade and average lead time is 4 to 12 weeks, but this can vary greatly as our inventory is constantly turning over. Please feel free to contact us if you would like to request an ETA for your order, and we will do our best to provide you with the most accurate estimation based on current information. Jo-Liza International will contact a customer for order processing approval if the lead time has exceeded 90 days {from the day the order was placed}.

Shipping

Orders are shipped FOB Fallbrook,CA. Shipping rates are calculated based on transit distance and the density of the shipment. When placing your order, please verify that all contact information is correct, including billing and shipping. Special shipping requests must be made at the time of order. Any fees associated with special requests are the responsibility of the customer and must be prepaid before delivery; Jo-Liza International will not be held responsible. Jo-Liza International does not drop ship or ship C.O.D. Average shipping cost is 30% of the purchase order. Jo-Liza International will contact the customer for approval if the shipping cost exceeds 30% of the merchandise cost. We do not guarantee ship dates.

Backorders

Backorders will be sent once the merchandise total is $750 or above, or the customer may elect to add items to ship with the backorder to allow for a lower freight percentage. 

Product Information

All our products are hand made and will not be exactly the same. Seagrass and rope materials are natural materials and may vary in color. Some may be darker or lighter in color. These are not flaws.

Pricing/Discounts

Prices may be subject to change without notice. Only approved customers may purchase our items at wholesale-level pricing. A volume-level discount of 20% will be given to each $20K order. This discount can be granted as often as a $20K order is placed. Customers are welcome  about Preferred Partner and container discounts. Jo-Liza International accepts international distributorships and custom orders with certain quantity depending on the product design.

Damages or Claims

Jo-Liza International  advises that you should not sign for orders that appear to be damaged. Please examine your order upon arrival for any discrepancies. Please keep all packaging until after inspection of all items, in case an item must be returned. We will not provide additional packing for returns. Claims with images must be submitted at www.joliza.com within 7 days of receipt. No returns will be accepted without prior approval. Call tags will be issued at Jo-Liza International’s discretion. Credit amount will be determined within 7-10 business days of receipt of your claim form. Replacements for claims are based on availability at the time a claim is received. All credits will be either put toward future purchases or refunded via check. Refunds are issued once the returned merchandise is received at our warehouse. Unauthorized returns and refused shipments will be charged a 20% restocking fee and all freight charges.
